Welcome

Welcome again to our corporate worship this morning. It is so wonderful to gather together, join our hearts and minds, our lives together to worship and praise our Lord. If you are new to BBC or are visiting today, we say a special welcome. If we can help you in any way, please speak to the pastor or the leaders of the church after the service.

Pray with us

Praise God for the BBC family camp last weekend at Madadana beach — for His word, for a time of rest, swimming, sport and an evening bonfire, and that all came home safe and well. To God be the glory.

  • God wants to do something new for BBC. Bring Him your burdens and concerns for the church.
  • Make yourself available for God to use you. There is never a better time than now.
  • Ask God whether BBC is aligned to His will and purpose for 2026, and what needs reviewing or introducing.
  • Do not lose heart if things are not going as they should. Talk to God; faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.
  • That our lives would point people to Jesus.
  • That God would raise up pastors and evangelists among us.
  • For the needy among us — students without family support, senior citizens, single parents, widows and widowers — that they would know God’s love in BBC.
  • For our international friends, that they would experience God’s love among us. Get to know someone you have not met yet.
  • Giving: not only money but our time, our presence at church events, volunteering, and hospitality.

A word for the week

“Some people have got out of the habit of meeting for worship, but we mustn’t do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer.”

Hebrews 10:25 (CEV)

Always be looking for ways to spur one another on to hold unswervingly to Christ, and toward love and good deeds. May the Lord enrich you in your worship today and empower you for the week ahead. God bless.
